CameraAnswer Support
Photograph a question, choose an image-capable AI model, and get an answer using your own OpenRouter API key.
Getting started
- Get an API key from OpenRouter. OpenRouter and the model provider may charge for usage; CameraAnswer itself is free.
- In CameraAnswer, open Settings, enter your key and tap Save Key.
- Choose an OpenRouter model that accepts images, or keep the default model.
- Return to the camera, capture your material, and allow AI photo processing when prompted.
If something goes wrong
- Key rejected: check that your OpenRouter key is valid and has the required permissions.
- Insufficient credits: check your OpenRouter account balance and the pricing of your selected model.
- Model cannot process images: select an image-capable model.
- Camera unavailable: allow camera access for CameraAnswer in iOS Settings, then reopen the app.
